Ice-cream experiment
On Friday the 29th of November room 12 made ice-cream with Mrs D. The ingredients we needed were:
- 4 eggs,separated.
- 1/4 cup of caster sugar (1st measure)
- 1/4 cup caster sugar (2nd measure)
- 300 mls of cream
My groups special ingredients are:
- m&m's/choc chips/choc sauce
Equipment we needed were:
- Teaspoons
- 3 Bowls
- Beater or mixer
- 2 spoons
- cups
- Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
- Beat the egg whites until they are stiff and you can form peaks.
- Add the 1st measure of caster sugar one teaspoon at a time.Make sure the sugar has dissolved. before adding the next teaspoon..
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks and the 2nd measure of caster sugar until it is thick and pale.
- Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the egg white mixture.
- In another bowl, beat the cream until ti is thick.
- Fold the cream mixture in with the egg mixture.
- Mix in your special ingredients If you are doing layers be very careful.
- Put into your ice-cream container and freeze for 2 hours
My groups ice-cream is called Uchiha choc chip.
